Pre-Owned Trucks

The first truck was built by Karl Benz in 1895 and it boasted an internal combustion engine. Later that same design was used to create the first passenger bus by the Netphener Company. Soon Benz had competition from Daimler, Renault, Peugeot, and Büssing. The truck was off and running. At the time trucks had a two-cylinder engine and a load capacity of 1,500 kg. to 2,000 kg.

The first trucks were built in the North America in 1904. Trucks remained virtually unchanged till after World War 1 when new innovations changed the truck market completely; Electric starters and power brakes were added, engines were built in 4, 6 and 8 cylinder models, full rubber tires were replaced with pneumatic tires and the first semi-trailers were built.
